Our walk will bring us to the most representative buildings of that urban and ideological transformation. We will visit the Cathedral of Granada which was built at the location of the Aljama Mosque, The Royal Chapel where the remains of the
Catholic Monarchs are laid to rest and La Lonja. We will also visit La Madraza building which is the first and only public university of Al-Andalus during the XIV century. Afterwards, this became the first City Hall of Granada. We will also visit the
former silk market and the Corral del Carbón. This last building is the only Muslim “alhóndiga” entirely kept in Spain
